Zandar has started a new concept. He is doing edits of Scottish skaters doing 5 tricks. Hopefully these will be coming as frequently as possible. First up in Daniel Nicholas from Edinburgh:

...appears to be the motto of the Barrow Boys.Smell and Joxa must have been aching like gooduns on Thursday morning. They are like a couple of crash test dummies. Here's a pic of Anthony (Smell) heading groundward at BaySixty6 or whatever it's called this week.

Laidback Bob http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/05/laidback-bob.html

Bob was in London so I hopped on the train up to Brixton to meet him at St. Ockwell (the patron saint of skateboarding) Park.He had Joxa and Smell in tow and after they threw themselves at the ground a few times it started raining so we jumped on the tube to Meanwhile 2 where I threw myself on the ground. The sun was out again so we skated to Meanwhile Gardens were it promptly started raining again so we debunked to Playstation for a quick skootle. Then to the pub. Rad day out in the big village.

You'll have somebody's fisheye out with that! http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/05/youll-have-somebodys-fisheye-out-with.html

Mike Day nearly took out my fisheye out with his deck at Shoreham.Luckily I stopped his board from hitting the railings with my leg.

Hamburger burger http://scumtash.blogspot.com/2010/05/hamburger-burger.html

Myself and Mrs Scumtash popped over (well compared to flying to San Diego) to Hamburg over the May day weekend to stay with our gracious host Detective Eva Schramm. As usual I was allowed some skate time so made the most of it by visiting the sick DIY Rote Flora bowl and getting in a sneaky hour at the iPunkt skatepark. We'd managed to avoid the traditional mayday riots that are centered around the Rote Flora Theatre which is a mecca for squatters, crustys and teen punks. It was just like the old punks picnic but with quality German beer instead of scrumpy. The riots had left their mark though in the form of burnt out bins, smashed up banks and glass everywhere - but the bowl was unscathed apart from some sketchy muddy puddles.Anyways Mrs 'tash snapped away and didn't do too bad for her first foray into the exciting world of exxxtreeeeme Diltonbertleslide skate action.iPunkt streety bit. Pointless child hell with added pointless dad. The little steep banks on the left were super fun tho.The quite frankly MASSIVE cradle and vert wall in the iPunkt bowl. If anyone grinds this I'll buy em at least 2 pints.Obligatory #1 and #2. Fer Alec.Crailtapperskidder into the puddle. SPLASH.Whats German for "Dilton Marsh"? I think it might be Bielefeld....Rote Flora was rad - hella tight corners and the back bit was like the wierdest 10ft vert ramp/bowl kinker transition thing ever all with pool coping. There's even a love seat in the back left corner, and just out of shot is the mental mini cradle on the right of the small ramp - that was fucked. I loved this place and if anyone fancies a trip out there let me know cos I'm keen...

You need wheels... http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/05/you-need-wheels.html

Love the fact that someone commented "Fuckin Chaz & Dave in parkas" on YouTube. Anyway, I got some new (to me) wheels.BDS DubCon things. 65mm. I like the way they've machine the tooling so that the name is embossed in the wheel rather than using printing which falls off.

Crawley http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/04/crawley.html

Went to Crawley on Wednesday evening, good turn out of old blokes.Hardly any BMXicans. Those that were there kept out of our way. Here's Jellyhead in the bowl shot on my phone camera.

Z36 http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/04/z36.html

I decided to set up the Z36 that I bought years ago second hand off of ebay.I stripped the old griptape off, sanded it down spray lacquered it first. It's a biggy at 9.75" by 36.5"I was feeling a bit cramped on the Cockfight and I people kept saying it looked too small for me. It is nice though and I skated better on it the other week than I have in years.I had fitted the Pool Bombers to it though and it was looking a bit monster truck in proportions with the extra risers required to avoid wheelbite with 64mm wheels. The Cockfight is now back to ¼" risers and the Lance Mountain Parkburners. The Pool Bombers on on this Z with some Indy's that I got from someone on MAS who described them as 159's. Not sure what size they are as Indy can't measure anything properly but they are Stage 5 and at 9" wider than my Stage 8's which are probably 166's (who knows).Anyway they've been spray painted to make them look like anodised ones (they don't). It'll soon chip off anyway. I fitted Tracker inverted kingpins and Bones medium Hardcores in them.I may have gone overboard with the risers again as there are wheelwells on the deck front and rear. I went for a ½" on the back and a ½" - ¼" wedge on the front to liven up the 17.25" wheelbase a bit.

Unlucky Clover http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/04/unlucky-clover.html

Got up early and drove round the rainy M25 to Biggin Hill to meet up with Jellyhead, 70's Steve and Sk8Goa Nick.Took some phonecam shots of the graffiti that's appeared...Once the rain stopped it dried out very quickly. Then I made the mistake of getting my camera out and it started raining again, I hadn't even dialled in the settings, ISO and WB way out from taking pictures of cameras indoors the other day. Only took one photo before having to pack everything away.

Chopped 8 wheeler http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/04/chopped-8-wheeler.html

I thought I'd try and make my 8 wheeler a bit more rideable. When I bought it I thought that a 33.5" x 13" deck with a 18.5" wheelbase sounded good. However it was very unmanageable with the long wheelbase. After chatting with my mate Loco Larry I decided to move the front trucks back, it now has a 15.875" wheelbase and has lost a few inches from the nose in a Lonnie Toft snub-nose inspired look.I also took the time to replace the bushings with Bones Soft Hardcores all round while I had it stripped down.

Cross Processed Jelly http://labrosus.blogspot.com/2010/04/cross-processed-jelly.html

I've just got some prints back from processing. This was one of the rolls of slide film that Jellyhead gave me, it's Kodak Elite Chrome Extra Colour 100. I had it processed as C41 instead of E6 (basically treated as a print film and not slide) by Online Photo Centre, great service, posted to them on Wednesday and back today. I ran the film through the Konica Pop that I got last year.
